I've been doing SLC for 9 years. 90 something percent of them are very
successful.
We do go through a lot of training/practice each Nov. with the kids
before the conference. Our time slots are 20-25 min. Which is just fine.
After every 2 conferences is a break in which the parents may visit a
particular teacher if there is a concern. I always end up feeling very
proud on how well the kids handle the conferences. We even have them
practice how to introduce your parents to the teacher.
