What a coincidence - we're just finishing up a unit on him now (here in 8th
grade). There are a couple of great Scholastic Art issues - April/May '98
(that deals specifically with him) and November '01 (that features working
with pattern and he's one of the featured artists).
I'm having my students create spontaneous (continuous)line drawings using a
dictionary of symbols. To end the unit we'll be doing a unit at the computer
lab - re-creating one of his works using MSDraw.
