Glass Fusing

My 8th grade sculpture and ceramic students are doing glass fusing and
sagging and slumping the fused pieces. We are using generic stainless steel
forms(milk shake containers and small stainless steel bowls and a plaster
mold. I am wondering if anyone has made a clay mold that can be used with
the fusing process? If so, what type of clay? How long did the mold last?
And what solution does one use to eliminate devitrification? Thanks...anna
