This is such a difficult subject. These kids need attention and they are not
getting all they need because we are told they have to be there. When we
have had staff development on special students we were told to spend the time
on them but that is crazy these regular kids are going to be supporting
these kids for the rest of their lives. I have a little group of special
kids and love them but they could not make it in a regular room. Some of the
other s in the class go to specials with regular kids and I give them help
and I don't fail them but I circulate and help all of them. There has got to
be a better way but we are talking about major changes in law. I see where
the law applies to some but it just does not make sense to stall kids that
need to go on while some try but never finish. I wold let them take what
they could home to finish. Keep the other rolling and it keeps the problems
down because when you hold some back they just seem to get in to troulbe.
