I am teaching AP Studio Art and some of my kids are doing their portfolio in
photography. I am looking for ideas in breadth (different media or ways to
work in a media). I was going to take a Prismacolor workshop that was using
their pencils to colorize photos. Alas...I am in bed with a lower back injury
and am not able to attend the Florida Art Ed Conference where the workshop is
held. :[
Do any of you photo guru's have any idea about the prismacolor colorizing?
Also, what about some other ideas in photography? I am not a specialist in
this area but have a good sense of composition and design for photos. I have
done pin hole camera stuff but have no darkroom to develop it. I have already
shown them how to make decal transfers from laser prints of their photos,
etc. All processing has to be done by a lab. I am thinking of mixed media
stuff, collages, altering photos somehow but distortion, etc.
