How about Lotte Jacobi (1896-1990) and Doris Ulmann (1884-1934) both
Photographers? You might consider Douglas Jeck (1963) contemporary
ceramicist and Georg Jensen (1866-1935) jewelry and metalwork from Denmark,
Nathan Jackson, Native American carver and metalsmith from Alaska. In
architecture there is Thomas Jefferson, (1743-1826) Virginia State Capital,
William Le Baron (1832-1907) Home Insurance Building, Chicago, and Philip
Johnson (1906) PPG Place Pittsburgh. Then there is the American Sculptors
Carl Paul Jennewein (1890-1978), Thomas Dow Jones (1811-1891) and Donald
Judd (1928-1994). How about Valerie Jaudon (1945) and under J how about
Jewelry? The list goes on.....Hope this helps. Judy
