i just thought of a really cool project i did with my pre-schoolers the other
day, that involved acrylic paint. I know the idea of acrylic paint seems too
much ,but it looked so cool and was a great frig. project for the parents. I
used gold acrylic paint, a foam brayer, and a fast food type of serving tray.
I had the kids individually roll on the tray gold paint place their hands on
the tray and print their hand on black paper, and then placed another sheet
of black paper over the tray creating a positive and negative print of their
hands in gold. You may use bright colored acrylic paint as another project
like we did to show complentary colors, they have high contrast- we call them
buddy colors. The use of watercolor complentary colors on the acrylic
painted hands of the children produced a dynamic affect,

 good luck
