Re: H.S. watercolor botanical art

To Ken Schwab:
Charles Rennie Mackintosh (correct spelling) was a multi-faceted Scottish
architect, designer, artist in the Art Noveau genre. I looked up sites on him
and found only stuff related to his design and architecture work which he is
more known for. But if you type in "botanical art" after his name, you'll see
some books on his flowers and botanical studies. If you locate these books
(via or through your local library) you'll see that his flower
studies are amazing.
You've given me an interesting idea for a contour line project—pencil
drawings of flowers, plants, painted with light washes of watercolor.
