Ken:

    There's a Scottish artist Charles Rennie McIntosh, I believe, from the
Art Deco era circa 1920's who did wonderful flower studies in pen and
ink/watercolor. Detalied illustrations that also had accompanying written
notes in a unique handwriting style.
