Hi Ellen,
Thanks so much, I knew someone's brain would be clicking, if not mine !!!!
We are doing a rainforest in 4th grade, and I wanted these to go along with
the origami frogs and flowers we have already made. In order to reinforce the
ecosystem idea I told them that we would be making snakes to eat the
incredible amount of origami frogs that they have created.
I know that origami does not belong in the rainforest, but the alternative is
letting the classroom teacher hang up coloring page cut outs (ARGHHHHHH
!!!!!)

So to compound the political incorrectness, we will also be making origami
later in the year for the evergreen tree. :)
