I always tell my kids there's not such thing as perfection, to just try their
best and not be put off if they don 't like the results. Many famous artists
(like Degas) were always working on paintings, refining them even after they
had been sold.
I stress that they should do their best and we talk about what they like and
do n't like about their finished work and how they could change or improve on
it.
I feel each project is a learning process and everyone is always learning.
I'm always learning and I don't always like what I create but I try to learn
