OF course she does all of those things. Like most school districts there is
a tremendous push for reading and writing. We have a full time reading
teacher, the full time writing teacher and a reading recovery teacher. The
students see her at least once a week, in additon to those students getting
individualized attention. She has a master's degree in reading (I have an MA
in ARt Education) and has taught in the general ed classroom. She is a good
person/teacher and I like her..it is just the idea that if my students do
writing, it is not considered valid! Very frustrating!
