The messages about Bethlehem tissue paper thingies
stirred up some memories for me. I went to the Middle
East last summer to study Middle Eastern art and all
this junk going on over there has really made me so
contemplative and quiet the past few days. We visited
Bethlehem, its pretty much a slum town under
Palestinian control. Weird, huh? I can only imagine
what it looks like right now.

Thanks Deb for the link about the buffalo - I had never heard about these before. They fit very nicely into my lesson! This is pretty much the same as the Chicago's Cow's on Parade @ (New York did this one as well), Switzerland's Cow Gallery @, and Cinncinati's Big Pig Gig @ I'd still like to include the Atlanta Baseballs if I can find some pictures and info on them, but I really appreciate the buffalo link!
