ask me, I think Jazz gold tempera sucks bigtime. If you want a dull...very
dull... gold paint, Jazz is your man. However, if you want a great shiny
gold...go Sargent Gold Tempera. I've tried 6 diff. companies/kinds during my
"gold" seekin' days. Nothing beats Sargent's and it even covers better than
and of the others. If you haven't tried it yet, you haven't LIVED!

Never tried Sargents, but I'll order some to try for next year, if it's that
good! I have always used Crayola gold. I love the coverage I get with
Crayola (including the metallics) and haven't yet found another brand of
tempera paint that covers as well. I can tell you forget Prang tempera-
poor coverage.

Also, anyone know if Jazz Gloss changed their formula in the last couple of
years? The rep told me they were supposed to change it because there were
lots of complaints that didn't completely dry. Humid days made it sticky.
