Re: Why Would Teachers not use Museum Educational Curriculum-long

I have also long thought about a "museum on wheels". A lot of schools can't get kids
to museums for various reasons( many just stated by SanD). Sometimes I get this
feeling that some museums have themselves on a pedestal and scare the everyday person
away. If they came out to the schools to make museums seem more people friendly I
think would be a beginning of reaching more people and increase appreciation of the
arts. Please remember I know this does not apply to all museums, but it is my
impression that more could be done to reach out.
