I used the slab techniques and the side of a milk carton to do masks with 6-8
year olds. They turned out great. You can add feathers, toothpicks, sequins
etc while the clay is wet. As far as breaking, it depends on the quality of
your clay. Just make sure they attach everything well. Janet
