* Global Project Based Learning
4:30-5:30pm PDT/7:30-8:30pm EDT
Come share and explore ideas for global projects. Where can you go to
get connected to teachers in other countries who are interested in
collaborating with teachers in the U.S. How do you start a project.
What are the models for global project based learning. What are the
advantages and challenges of global project based learning.

Linda Ullah is a "teacher in residence" at the Center for Innovation at
Foothill College in Los Altos, CA. She has spent the past five years as
a technology Learning Coordinator for the Challenge 2000 Multimedia
Project, and has taught elementary students for many years. She is also
a curriculum writer trainer for the Santa Clara County Office of
Education's Internet Institute and a curriculum developer and guide for
Classroom Connect's Connected University .

Her students collaborated with students in Sao Paulo, Brazil on a
successful Internet based water pollution project, and has most recently
helped teach two workshops in Japan on Global Project Based Learning.
