Their video on perspective is excellent--I have been using it in my fifth
grade art class for years. It covers some of the the ways artists create the
illusion of depth, emphasizing the word illusion--- overlapping, vertical
position, diminishing size, linear perspective in an understandable and
entertaining way--I found it the perfect way to reinforce what we try to
teach our elementary students. The 5th graders love it. David Hockney draws a
chair, the way he sees it, showing the viewers that a chair can look
different from different perspectives and he puts them all in one
drawing--really good stuff. C.Lyden
