Subject: printmaking with leaves!!
Hello to everyone! My name is Angie, and I am a senior at the University of
WI-Eau Claire, and I am an art education major. I am working on a lesson
with some group members on printmaking with leaves, and it has to be for a
4th or 5th grade level. We were thinking about making some sort of book to
go along with the prints to make it more challenging...we're not really
sure of the capabilities of a 5th grader! Any ideas?? We are using
watercolors to print. Also, does anyone know of any good childrens books
that could accompany this lesson? We are going to feature the Georgia
O'keefe as an artist who works with nature. I would love any comments!!
