During open house, I had a parent inquire about an art history book he co=
uld
buy for his son, a first grader. This book would be used by the father to
share with the son. Do any of you have recommendations I could share with
him? I'd appreciate books that you all have used, so that I'm sure they a=
re
appropriate.

The Mike Venenzia series-Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists is =
great for elementary school students to learn about artists. There are al=
so several other authors that produce children's books about art and arti=
sts. You might suggest the parent go to the local library also.
