Betty,
When I was student teaching I purposely did a weaving object with the fifth
grades so that I could utilize the guidance of my cooperating teacher. This
was one of the few art forms that I had NO experience in. I regretted the
decision at first because being a student teacher is difficult enough but in
the long run it turned out to be a wise decision (because I was a competent
student teacher and this gave me a chance to truly make use of the expertise
of my mentor)!
..definitely NOT a stupid question!
