Secondary level ceramics curriculums

I am going to be teaching four high school art classes in ceramics in
January. I am seeking really inspirational hand-building ideas. I have done
large terra cotta masks using paper armatures, which the students loved, but
would like some other creative projects ideas for the 9-12 grade levels.
