Larry,
That was sooooooooo good. You nearly laid out a curriculum/unit on
painting. I will follow that when I get ready to teach painting. You
described my style of painting too. NO FEAR! I had to chuckle at the part
when you said "I want them to know how difficult it is," (painting) "I want
them to squirm"... I felt the same way when my daughter got her first job at
16 (clerk in a clothing store) I wanted her to suffer and see how hard some
people work for minimum wage. I wanted her to get as much education as
possible so she wouldn't have to be down graded by co-workers & customers.
She hated that whole summer. Now she is a successful 1st. grade teacher!
I think what you do is awesome. Thanks for all of the good stuff.
