I had a student who (discovered in class) she was allegric to 'red' clay.
She could not even touch something that had come in contact with the clay.
It took alot of accomadations but I had her for 2 years in class and we dealt
with it.
And used ALOT of white clay instead! Word to the wise...don't put off any
student who complains while working with clay and their hands hurt, itch or
are uncomfortable...it may be an allergy, slight or severe.
