My thanks to those of you who responded to my original post. And to
H2omellen, believe me when I say I know exactly how you feel...I have taken a
couple of weeks since my "retirement" just to heal my fractured spirit. As
of now, I am preparing to take my show on the road, so to speak...I have
decided to teach privately, which I hope will keep me from being completely
impoverished, but will definitely allow me to teach students who want to
learn, and will give me the freedom to create.

I admire and respect those who are able and willing to continue the fight for
arts education in our public schools. I want to remain on this list, for I
have learned, and continue to learn much from the wisdom and experience...and
appreciate the many kindnesses which have been shown me. Best wishes,

Charlene
