I am still looking for ideas to better educate pre-service teachers for
all of the extra duties of teaching (parent letters, discipline plans,
seating charts....and on and on...all of the stuff that has to be done
before the school year begins...and is already done by the
cooperating teacher when the student teacher comes in). You may
respond to me directly at:
Maybe some of you first year teachers have some good ideas on
this one. Maybe some of you were well prepared and could share
what your college did...or some of you felt you were not adequately
prepared but learned some good ideas through a mentor....Some of
you veteran teacher may have had student teachers recently and
also might have some input. Thanks for your time.
