One of my co-workers is working on her administrator's certificate.
She needs to know how preservice teacher training could better
educate candidates to be ready for all of the paper work kind of
things that are necessary (parent letters, discipline plans, getting
the room ready....all the kinds of things that go on BEFORE the
student teacher comes into the classroom).
I have been teaching now for a total of seventeen years and I know I
very my procedures a little each year ....when I learn new
technology...or when something didn't work out well one year, I
revise it. I would be interested in hearing from you....especially
those who have had substitute teachers who seamed clueless. I
had one really frustrating experience with one last year....so I have
a few ideas to send to Mary for her research.
