question for Woody

Woody, can you tell us more about the "memory drawings" you use with the
"artist of the week?" When in the week do they do the drawings - where does
"memory" come in?

different "artists of the week" going depending on the class - the artists
rotate differently - is that right? So how many different displays do you
have going at a time?

At the moment my asking such questions seems pretty futile, but I can always
hope that someday I'll have a job, can't I? - One of the middle school jobs
I applied for this summer hired someone from out of state and she quit
already. A friend who teaches in the system saw the notice and called me. I
contacted them, but the principal had recommended someone last Friday and
they were hired immediately (they just emailed to tell me). This "principal
knew somebody and they were hired immediately" keeps happening to me, but
it's a good learning experience to realize that the process of posting
openings, taking applications, reviewing them, and interviewing....does not
exist. (and no, to all who will suggest it, I can't substitute, ok?, and I
need to stay in this geographic area) By the time I see an opening the job
is closed.

Anyway, I'll stop whining now. Woody, would you tell us more about the
memory drawings?
