One of my teachers wants to do a mural in the hall of Africa. I gave him
some suggestions on how to make it aesthetically pleasing and artistic.
He replied he wants to "teach" with his mural and wants it "student
generated". How do I help him understand that these concepts are not
opposed. He asked for my help but it sounds like he just wants me to
babysit while his kids paint. If I'm going to help I feel he needs to
listen to my suggestions or else I don't want a part of "cluttering up
the halls" with projects that would look find in the classroom. My
feeling is if it's in the hall, it needs to be more articstically
pleasing for the public. Any ideas????
