About the sinks, this may sound like I have a bad attitude (and, maybe I
do), but since you have no sinks and your principal has a problem with
students using the custodial closet, then resort to art projects that
require no water. I know that's bad, but if paintings aren't displayed
or clay projects, then maybe someone with a louder voice (parents) will
demand that something happen.
