this is quite late, I fell very behind on reading the emails:

I swear by my Birkenstocks. The most important thing to me is that my feet
are comfortable. If my feet hurt, I can't concentrate. With hard tile
floors and a chair that rarely gets used, my Birks are the only thing that
save my feet!
