Re: making sketchbooks-- anyone have a lesson plan with inexpensive m aterials?

I've never tried this, but it sounds like an interesting idea. Find old
discarded books with hardcovers. Gesso the front and back cover and have
students paint their images on using acrylic paints. Then use the pages
inside to paint over, collage over, cut through to make windows to other
pages, be creative!!! Magazines might work for this to, if you're really
desparate!!!
