We felted in college and it was really simple. We used kool-aid (obviously
no sugar! You might laugh, but some of my classmates brought in the
presweetened kind! *L*) We soaked it for a couple days and it turned out
really nice. One interesting project we did was to make geo's (?). Take a
small piece of one color, wrap it with another, then another, etc. Then we
had a volunteer put them all in a pillowcase, take them to the laundromat
and throw them in the dryer. The heat of the commercial dryer shrank the
wool, and when we got the geos back they were really tight balls. We cut
them in half and they look really neat! PS - the wool was dry when we made
