Yes, the kindergartners should sign on the front of the art. Among other
things, it shows the hand-eye coordination and easily demonstrates the age.
I teach self-portraiture to K-adult, and the name, written in the childish
hand, is an amazing contrast to the development shown in the drawing. The
kids are extremely proud of the portrait work they do and having their names
on the piece adds to their thrill.
