Eliza,
I made sketchbooks for my students in grades 3, 4 and 5 , (16 classes,
300+total) using the GBC machine. I bought the plastic ring binders at
Staples ($18.00 for maybe 200?) and used oaktag for the front and back cover
and copy paper for the sheets inside. Budget was a concern for me considering
I would be making SO MANY of them and this was the most inexpensive way for
me to do this. I wanted the sketchbooks to last the whole year. The kids
LOVE their sketchbooks and always ask to draw in them during their free time.
BUT, the problem with making them this way is that it is quite
time-consuming and the students did not get involved with the process. If
you get another way to make them please share!
Hope this helps.
