I agree it is stupid to grade Pre-K - 4th in art. Don't the classroom
teachers grade on skills anyway and don't they know their 25 students better
than you could ever know them since you have 500? I have the same
situation, but luckily the other 2 el. art teachers and I have decided that
everyone gets a "star".
