Could you believe the crowds in most of the presentations at TAEA? I had been told to expect 50 participants for each of my workshops and made that many handouts. Today I am in my office making more handouts to mail. Even my workshop that was scheduled in the last hours of Sunday was standing room only. I thought everybody would have gone home by then.
Regardless of the problems of not having enough handouts and materials, it was great to see so many people so involved in art education.
Just a word in defense of the Sax reps ... the resources for the Sax booth were lost in shipping. I was told that what we saw at their exhibit was what one of the reps luckily had on hand.

Why didn't anyone do this for the Texas conference? I went by
the Sax booth and there was nothing. I guess our local rep
isn't as "on the ball" as you are, Judy!
Oh well, it was still a great conference...
