Art in Independent Schools

Our Curriculum and Instruction SACS committee is
trying to find information about programs in other
independent schools. I am looking for private school
information about art buildings/facilities (visual,
performing and musical)and about programs in those
areas. I would also like information about how many
people private schools have in the Fine Arts
department and what types of courses are offered. We
are wanting to expand our program and need some advice
and direction. Of course, funding is always an issue.
Our school is part boarding, part day, a population
of about 265 students. We have a good drama program
and a choir, but limited facilities and room as well
as limited personnel. Any ideas? (I am not an art
teacher, but I accompany the choir and work with the
Spring musical. I also chair this SACS committee so
I'm desperate for information!)
Thanks,
Elaine
