Rosa,
There is no right or wrong in art, just different ways of doing things.
I tell my students that daily. Of course we impose our own standards of
beauty upon them. As a watercolor artist I abhore black. But every few years
I break my own rules. That's what rules are for.
"Now reading this I just wondered if I had been
doing something wrong all along, cannot see it though for they know colour
theory pretty well by the time they are 11 and 12 years old."
