Call me ethnocentric, but I've never thought of looking to Puerto Rico for
info on Retablos. It's a fabulous thing to know we share that genre, I can't
wait to see how "our" styles relate.

.....anyway.
We're smack dab in the middle of a "local arts" (read: Spanish Colonial)
unit....which happens to include lessons on Santos & Bultos, Straw Applique
and Punched Tin. I'd be happy to send you info, but I'd also recommend you
visit the variety of New Mexico museum(s) web sites.
