If you visit the ThinkQuest 2000 site (http://www.thinkquest.org) you
can locate a whole page of links to websites created by students and
their teachers on art and artists. Click on the Library of Entries link,
then in the blue menu bar on the left click on List by Subject. That
will take you to an Arts & Entertainment heading with Artists as a sub
title. The actual URL for the Artists section is:
http://www.thinkquest.org/cgi-bin/list.cgi?c=ARTS_%26_ENTERTAINMENT__Artists

I haven't looked at all of them, but the ones I have visited are
excellent, especially Modern Masterworks.
