During the semester exam I have the students take a written exam. This is
usually a short essay type or a combination of true/false , multiple choice
and essay. For the final at the end of the year, I have them do activity
exams. One , for Art 3 is using musical terms, they must pick one ,like
"Stacatto" and do a non-objective design with colored pencils or craypas that
depicts this term visually.
In Art 2 they each get a square of a large picture and then reproduce it in
pencil and then put it up on the board with the others tyo produce a single
picture.
In Art 4 they make a mono print with watercolor on paper and with ink make
something out of it.
