HS art exams?

Hi--
Just wondering what other teachers do during exam time in their HS art
classes. I've seen a couple of different approaches: One involves a
combination written and skills exam, and the other has the students doing
various presentations (such as on artist research) during the exam block.
I haven't decided what to do yet, and would welcome feedback from other
secondary level teachers.
