Peggy,
You might want students to make a stencil resist first of their original
designs, using contact paper, to get a cleaner looking images.
Also brushing armour etch onto the glass with a sponge brush, versus a
bristle brush will achieve a smoother texture.
Make sure students wash their hands thouroughly after using the etching
creme, as it is an acid based product.
