Consult your union, sounds like bump for someone with more years, and
favoritism...But it wouldn't be legal in my district because art is a
different special certification. Art is a required subject in Jnr. High but
not in elementary...so they may feel justified there. However, by building a.
elem art room and removing a credentialed art teacher and replacing her with
a classroom teacher sounds definitely wrong...talk to your union.
