"Don't shoot me, I'm only the piano player," the little man raised both arms
as the gunslinger ran through the barroom. "They went that-a-way," he
pointed with a shaking finger.

Once we sign our letter of intent, the administration can assign us, if
they wish, to ANY school in our district. Our administration can REQUEST we
work in their schools, but the reality of it is, that letter says we will
work for the system. Mine has a space which lists my assigned school. It
does not guarantee a room, either. I found that out one year when I was
leaving one school for a new job, because I had had it with seven years and
no sink...I was in a double wide trailer..The next year, the teacher had no
room and was on a cart, as I was when it rained. The classroom teachers
didn't want to bring the kids out in the rain, because the administration
didn't want to build a covered walkway either. Such a shame, such a shame....
I think when I go back to school to work on a six year or a doctorate
(<G>) degree, I'll go into Administration.....Can Art Teachers become
Principals and change the system? YBYA

All the best,
Paula
