I would like to know how other high school art teachers use critique. What
format do you use. How do you get your students to talk about other art work
(my students don't want to offend their friends) and THEY are just now
learning the language of art....more than "I like it, it's pretty" My first
year (and the old art teacher never did critiques) I cam e across a great
format for critique...the kids set up what a "Successful work of art looks
like based on the elements and principles...then they decide what is
successful based on their criteria....make sense?
Please help. If you could list some key words on how you start your crit.
and how you get them to TALK!! ANY INFO WOULD HELP!
