Dear Children
We would like to invite you to Torun for the 10th time already. Together
with you we would like to pay tribute to nature and the environment that we
live in. We would also like to answer some questions that are crucial to
all of us. How important and indispensable is the natural world to us? How
should we take care of it? Why do people love animals and plants? Why do
scientists want to draw attention of all the people in the world to
important ecological issues? Why are there people who do their best to
bring back the equilibrium to the natural world by correcting what has been
neglected or mistreated by others?

And you? What can you do? What is the natural world, the world of animals
and plants to you? What are woods, parks, mountains, rivers, lakes and seas?
Could we as humans exist without this world? How miserable our lives would
be without colourful flowers, the sough of trees, endless meadows, the
sound of water, wild animals friend y dogs and cats, merry birds,
industrious ants, cockchafers, beetles, bees...Imagine how wonderful and
rich our world is. Think of the various shades of green and blue around us.
Try to transform your observations and reflections into works of art. And
please send your paintings, drawings and engravings to our Gallery. We are
looking forward to seeing your works.
