spending $150 on art club?

Hi,

I have $150 dollars to spend on my art club right now, may not, probably will
not have anymore this year. Oh boy, but very grateful for what we do have!

The focus of this club is drawing and then painting. Do you have an opinion
on what I should buy with this money? I was thinking of buying some low cost
acrylic because the children, (grade k-5 and one 7th grader) could use the
acrylic in a transparent and an opaque way. I am a watercolorist myself, but
thought that only using watercolor with children might be hard for them since
it is such a tricky medium. Do you agree?

I am not sure what sort of paper and brushes to buy either, as I have not used
acrylic myself. Any suggestions?

With any leftover money I thought I would pick up some watercolor pencils and
some oil pastels too.

Thanks as always for your input.
Susan
