I really liked your list of requirements to be an art teacher! I'd like to add
a few:

Stamina - Many days are physically and mentally exhausting. My most recent
student teacher confided that she didn't know if she had the energy to do this
day in and day out.

Caring- Both for the students and for the subject. Maybe what I mean is even
beyond caring -- it is a passion for the students and for art in general.

A sense of adventure - "I wonder what would happen if...." "I wonder why...."
"What if we...."

Curiosity - It is curiosity that keeps one from being bored or burned out ..
again, an attribute sharedby both artists and art teachers.
